Annie & Jason, engaged!
I met Annie and Jason in San Francisco last week for their engagement session. Bright blue skies with no fog in sight - the real San Francisco treat! We went to three picture perfect locations, starting out in Golden Gate Park, then the Legion of Honor and ending up near Fort Point with a great bridge view. The chilly (maybe icy is a better word) winds did not stop them from having a good time and enjoying the moment, which is what engagement sessions are all about. Congratulations Annie and Jason!

Sprng Break Smiles
I met this dynamic duo the other morning in Pleasanton. They're in first and third grades and on spring break this week - remember those glorious days? What fun it was to do a mid-week photo session with these kids. They might be the most cooperative siblings I've ever been around! Here's a sneak peek for mom but shhh...don't tell dad because they're all keeping it a Father's Day secret.

Meet baby P (and his beautiful family too)
Meet this little cutie, you'll be seeing more of him in the months to come. I'm happy to say he's my first official "Baby Plan" client. That means that I'll do three sessions with him in his first year (we started at 6 months, so we'll also do 9 and 12 months.) Along with the three sessions comes 3 prints at the end (mom and dad's favorite from each session), discounted print prices each time and a combined reduced-rate session fee. **For anyone expecting a baby or with one under 4 weeks old, I have a 4-session newborn-12 month baby plan that is fabulous! Contact me for details.
We started out the session fully dressed...baby "P" was serious about the task at hand. But take this little guy's clothes off and he's all smiles! I'm very excited for our next session at the end of June - we'll see how he feels about his clothes then ;)

Happy Easter, Happy 6 months!
Here's my good buddy, Baby "A" again. Can he be any cuter? He's just hit the half- year mark, a milestone no doubt. He's almost sitting up on his own and has plenty of smiles for me, the camera and especially his mama. Give him another few weeks and he'll be crawling right out of that Easter basket I'm sure! I love the last one here of mother and son. It was one of the last shots of the day - a beautiful ending to a great photo session.

At home in Danville
I feel so honored when I meet newborns for portrait sessions. It's such a gloriously short period when they're so tiny, and what fun it is to be a part of it. I had the great pleasure to meet baby Chase last weekend, and his beautiful family at their home in Danville. They have two boys and a gorgeous white couch. I was not only impressed by that (a bold move with boys!) I was also excited because it made a fantastic setting for a "new" family portrait. I just love the look of these photos with the window light pouring in.
This one makes me want to go back in time to when my son was just 4 weeks old - how I wish we had a picture like this of us! What a cooperative baby he was...and so was Daddy (you can guess what happened with a naked baby boy!)
And here's two more I love, in black and white. The sweet, serene face of a new baby...is there anything better? And I love the moment here between father and son - you can almost hear the giggles.
